Tousuien has their corporate philosophy that "From a tea plantation to tea in a living room." It is a set of Sencha "Izumo Tea Kiwami" and "Izumo Tea Takumi." Both Sencha is cultivated and processed at their own tea plantation. The best season of Japanese tea is mainly from the end of April to the end of May. Tea produced in this period of a year is called “Shincha (the first picked tea of this year). Shincha is precious and valuable. Both “Kiwami” and “Takumi” were harvested during “Shincha” season and processed at Tousuien own factory. "Kiwami" is the best grade among Sencha harvested in the year. Especially the rich taste of “Kiwami” that is described “natural Gyokuro” is most exquisite. "Takumi" has a well-balanced between refreshing fragrance, rich flavor and subtle bitter taste that complements them. Both are unique to represent Izumo area.
