The grated yam paste Kaiseki (sophisticated traditional Japanese cuisine brought in courses) restaurant Asakusa Mugitoro opened in Showa Period year 4 (1929) right by Komagata Bridge. We have a focus on our secret dashi (Japanese soup stock made from fish and kelp) recipe which has been handed down from generation to generation since the store was opened. We serve up carefully selected ingredients that are full flavored and rich, and which we change according to the available rich bounty of the season.
