With an aim to convey the great aspects of kimonos to a wider generation using chocolate as a trigger, it is a chocolate made with a commitment to taste and appearance by Yoshikawa SenSho.
"Beauty" in Japan is made from the Japanese people’s beautiful sensitivity and aesthetic sense. The basis of "beauty” is forged with Japanese sensitivity; it is something that is touched, and that is seen, day after day. These things which are around us, which we see and touch, are made by the artisans, and this is the origin behind the creation of “beauty."
If a kimono has been caught up as being representative of Japan, can you not then put a kimono on chocolate? Even today kimonos still hold the meaning of a “good sign, a celebration sign,” and with our chocolates we also wish to convey this same meaning, along with the custom of love and seasons.
This chocolate clothed in such deep thoughts and beauty , was born with the desire to be loved and tasted by customers, We have prepared flavors which are special to Kyoto that can’t be tasted anywhere else, such as or such as Kuro Shichimi (black seven spices), White Miso, and more.
