This store, which originally opened as a senbei (rice crackers) specialist in Hiroshima, is now celebrating its 70th anniversary. From when they opened until now they have consistently pursued a mantra of homemade cooking which is both good and safe. They have succeeded in drawing out the maximum amount of rich, thick umami (taste) and fragrance from their ingredients by using the crispy frying technique known as Shiboriyaki.
A distinctive cooking recipe from the Hiroshima Tomoeya Kiyonobu store, a specialist for seafood caught in the Seto Inland Sea surrounding Miyajima. It is a delicious taste which can only be found in Japan. Even if you only try it once, we are sure you will be hooked.
